The Faculty Senate is the university-wide institution through which shared governance is practiced at the University of Florida.
An overview of how governance responsibilities are shared by the administration and faculty is available in graphic form. This diagram was included in the reorganization of the Faculty Senate approved by the Board of Trustees in 2003.
